Selling myself for a good cause (again!)
Feb. 22nd, 2012 11:32 amOkay, so here's the deal. I work for an animal shelter, and our annual walk is coming up. In a rare moment of letting my RL and my fandom life collide, I'm asking for your support. Donate to my walk efforts, and I will give you something in return.
A donation of $5-20 gets a ficlet of your choice (up to 1,000 words) in the Sherlock or Doctor Who fandoms (or a crossover). A donation of $20 or over gets at least 2000 words of fic. Any characters, any pairings--although you really probably don't want me to venture past an R-rating, because I can't vouch for the quality. My AO3 page is here, if you want to see what I do first.
I can absolutely guarantee that my shelter is one of the good ones. We take in all animals that come to us from our area, and we save over 81% of them--the national average is about 50%. Any questions, I'll be happy to answer.
And you know what, I'll go one further. If you want to make a donation to your LOCAL animal shelter instead, send me a screenshot that you've done so, and any donation of $20 will get at least a ficlet, depending on my inspiration.
